What an exciting event!! After 18 holes of great golf, we had two teams tied at 2 under par. As we proceeded to the sudden death hole a hush came over the course, the Pro Shop was shut down and other golfers stopped by to watch the sudden death hole. You could feel the intensity in the air and in the players as well. Both teams had poor tee and second shots which left them a difficult chip shot to get on the green. The tournament came down to a 6 foot putt, which both players on the runner team missed. This was a great event for our students and the Mt. Pleasant community.
The overall winners were: Blake Owens & Cole Cornwell (student division)
The runners up were: Larry Lynce & Doug Richley (student division)
Everyone thought the prizes and the gifts from the sponsors were great and nice addition to the tournament.
