10th Annual NIRSA Foundation Golf Tournament
10th Annual NIRSA Foundation Golf Tournament in conjunction with the 2004 NIRSA Annual Conference & Recreational Sports Exposition. Since 1994, tournament proceeds benefiting the NIRSA Foundation have reached nearly $45,000. The main goals of the tournament are to have fun, meet new people, and support the NIRSA Foundation while enjoying a terrific day of golf at The University of New Mexico Championship Golf Course in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The tournament is a great way to interact with NIRSA professionals, students, and exhibitors. The tournament utilized a four-person scramble format. The CGA is a main sponsor of the tournament.

Whittier College Purple & Gold Golf Tournament
Purple & Gold is the primary support group for men’s and women’s athletics at Whittier College. P&G provides extra funds for special athletic needs such as travel expenses for out-of-state tournaments, training equipment, facility improvements, shoes, and other items to enhance our men’s and women’s athletic programs. Annual contributions go to help support all 21 intercollegiate sports, involving nearly one-third of the men and women who are students at the College. In addition to fundraising, P&G is also active in the lives of Poet student-athletes in sponsoring events the entire Whittier College community such as the fall and spring sports barbecues, the P&G Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament and an annual All Sports Awards banquet, and Hall of Fame dinner. Everyone is welcome to join.
